This Privacy Policy explains what we, Froriep Legal AG ("Froriep"), do with personal information that we collect from you through your use of the Froriep websites (our "Site"). We recommend that you read this privacy policy carefully.We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and we encourage you to review it periodically.

Please note that this Privacy Policy only applies to the use of your personal information obtained by us through our Site and other connected services.

By using our Site and by providing personal information to us, you are agreeing to the use of such information as set out in this Privacy Policy. In line with these terms we only process personal data in accordance with the applicable law.

How We Collect and Use Personal Information

When you access our Site, we collect and store visitor information, the name of your internet provider, the internet protocol address (IP address) of your computer, date and time of your access to the Site and the internet address of the website that led you to our Site. We use this information based on our legitimate interest to track your visit and improve our Site.

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we process it according to this Privacy Policy or for as long as we have a statutory or professional indemnity obligation to retain it.

How We May Share Personal Information

We consider personal data collected through your visit to our Site as confidential, and treat it as such. We will not share it with third parties, except when necessary to comply with law, court orders, or legal process; to enforce or apply our agreements or protect us and our rights. All our attorneys, trainees and staff members of all FRORIEP locations (including our London and Madrid offices) may have access to your personal data, except if we consider it inappropriate or if you instruct us to restrict access to certain information. We may obtain services from outside parties (for example from hosting providers) in various countries, some of which may not be considered to be countries with an adequate level of data protection, to assist us in operating the Site and in processing the information described in this Privacy Policy. We ensure an adequate level of data protection with these third parties through contractual guarantees.


Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your computer. We use cookies to make our Site easier to use and to better tailor the Site and our products to your interests and needs. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies (see above) to help us analyse how users use our Site. Through the integration of the plugin, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding page of our Site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Site will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States of America. However, your IP address will be truncated before it is passed on to Google.

Social Plug-Ins

We may use social plug-ins of various social networks, for example LinkedIn, Twitter or Google. These plug-ins are functions of the respective social network through which you can share content of our Site with your social media contacts, for instance, or recommend this content to others. Social plug-ins can be identified by the logo of the respective social network.
